I led the communications strategy behind PepsiCo’s first Global Smiles Week — a company-wide recognition moment designed to make appreciation visible at scale and connect employees to what “makes us smile at PepsiCo” during a period of cultural transformation.
This was more than a recognition campaign. It was a narrative effort to align employees around shared cultural tenets and reinforce how we show up as One PepsiCo. I translated that ambition into clear messaging guidelines, a global narrative, and activation toolkits that allowed global consistency with local flexibility — enabling meaningful participation across more than 1,085 sites. The campaign ultimately reached 200,000+ associates, generated 410,000+ recognition messages through the Smiles platform, and significantly elevated leadership recognition across internal and external social channels.
My role: End-to-end communications ownership — from narrative strategy and messaging development through global rollout and execution as Global People & Culture Communications Director
